Mayor of Greater Manchester visits Tameside`s Macmillan Unit

We are proud to have welcomed our Mayor for Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham.

Andy visited the Trust to see the Macmillan Unit and the most recent upgrade to the Unit`s outpatient department, the outpatients` department environment now has the same high levels of excellence as the rest of the unit, meeting Macmillan Cancer Support`s Quality Environmental Quality Mark standards.

Andy called into the Macmillan Information and Support service and discussed the needs and concerns of people affected by cancer.
