Tameside Macmillan Courtyard Gardening Support Group

Connect, grow, and thrive in a welcoming green space.

Tameside LEAP and the Macmillan Information and Support Service are delighted to offer Evergreen, a weekly gardening group for people affected by cancer.
Held in the peaceful courtyard garden at the Tameside Macmillan Unit, this friendly group provides an opportunity to enjoy nature, meet others, and support your wellbeing in a relaxed and accessible environment.

No gardening experience is needed, and people of all abilities are welcome. Whether you'd like to get involved in gardening activities or simply sit, chat, and enjoy the surroundings, there's a place for you.
The garden offers easy access and disabled-friendly facilities, making it accessible to everyone. As the project develops, you'll also have the opportunity to help shape the future of the group and support its growth to other locations across Tameside.
