Men represent over half of cancer cases, but make up only 31% of calls to Macmillan cancer support`s support line. This means that many people are missing out on getting the support they need. We are a Glossop based peer support group for anyone diagnosed with breast cancer. Our group offers support and information based on personal experience. Come along for an informal chat in pleasant surroundings with people who understand much of what you may be going through. High Peak CVS run a bereavement support group service for adults with significant loss. Any adult struggling to cope with their bereavement can be referred in or refer themselves for group support. We have groups in Buxton, Glossop, Chapel en le Frith and the Hope Valley, we aim to provide all of the High Peak with a local bereavement support group.
