Volunteer Complementary Therapist

Willow Wood`s Complementary Therapy service

at Tameside Hospital`s Macmillan Unit

We're looking for volunteers to assist the Complementary Therapy Team providing therapies to cancer patients and carers.

Complementary therapies can make significant difference to the wellbeing of people affected by cancer.  They can help reduce stress and anxiety, enable people to cope better with illness and pain control and relieve some symptoms and side effects of cancer and its treatments.

We are looking for skilled, caring, individuals to help us build the service & support people affected by cancer.

if you would like an informal discussion about volunteering with the complementary therapy service please contact

Pat Hunter on 0161 330 1100 or by email p.hunter@willowwood.info
