Cancer Research UK have a new Indoor Cancer Awareness Roadshow that’s arrived in Tameside for 2019. Cancer Research UK are visiting Ashton Market roughly every other Thursday until the end of the year, situated inside the market with an indoor set up.

The Roadshow is staffed by nurses and our aim is to talk to members of the public to raise awareness of the importance of early diagnosis of cancer and to help people to make healthy lifestyle changes.

You don’t need an appointment and the service is absolutely free. We also do health tests such as the Body Mass Index and Smokerlyser tests.
